Position Description:
The EcoReps coordinator will work in partnership with the ESS Sustainability Programs Supervisor to organize and expand the University-wide EcoReps program. The program is a student peer to peer sustainability education network with the goal of decreasing the University’s environmental impact in alignment with the UW Environmental Policy statement and the Climate Action Plan. The EcoReps coordinator will gain hands on experience in project management, program development, networking, communications, marketing, and development of educational materials with guidance/mentoring from the Program Supervisor.Internship Goals:
- Expand the current EcoReps network
- Generate creative activities and events for EcoReps to participate in and engage a broader student base
- Continue developing relationships with campus departments that support students, such as Residence Halls, Student Life, Greek Community, etc.
Pay:
$12-14 depending on experience
