Nourish International Internships Available

Interested in gaining real world experience abroad? Come join Nourish International for a global internship with the focus of implementing sanitation education in Uganda this summer.

Nourish International is a non-profit organization that serves as a platform for students to make long-lasting, global impacts within developing regions around the world. Nourish creates partnerships between university chapters and communities abroad in an effort to foster strong relationships, implement sustainable development, and eradicate poverty.

This year, we are continuing our partnership with Rural Health Care Foundation Uganda. We are raising funds to build sanitation facilities and conduct health education programs in a primary school in order to empower female education and promote general hygiene and sanitation. This summer, we will be sending a group of our students to help implement the project alongside the community for six weeks.

We are encouraging anyone interested in this internship to please fill out this application. We are holding an info session Thursday, April 2nd in Thomson 231 at 6:00pm. If you are unable to make the info session, please contact the project director, Rylee with any questions at nourish@uw.edu.

Applications for the trip are due April 10th, 2015 at 5:00 PM and are open to anyone.
