Compliance & Fundraising Intern

General Information
Blue Wave Political Partners,
a political compliance and fundraising consulting firm, is seeking interns to
join their growing company. The scope of work includes assisting in compliance
and fundraising for Democratic candidates, with campaign races in almost every
level of government in Washington State and across the country. This is a great opportunity for
those wishing to gain more experience in political campaigns and build a vast
professional network in a busy work environment.
Interns are expected
to work at least a full quarter with the opportunity for school credit if
allowed by the college/university of the applicant. Hours may vary week to
week, and start/end dates are flexible.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Assist with
responsibilities including:

Special event coordination
from small gatherings to large scale, high profile political fundraisers.
·
Conduct in-depth
donor research, maintenance, and management of data.
·
Direct donor
communication and donor maintenance for multiple political clients.
·
Manage office administrative duties,
including mail processing and bank deposits.
·
Other responsibilities as they develop.
Qualifications
Eligibility:
A candidate must be an undergraduate student or recent
graduate. No specific major is required, but a basic understanding of
government and campaign processes is helpful.
Skills:
·
Requires proficient professional experience working with Microsoft
Office Suite software to include Word, Excel, Publisher, and Visio
·
Ability to prioritize and meet competing deadlines
·
Ability to maintain and manage highly confidential or
sensitive information
·
Additional skills in graphic design valuable but not
necessary
