Medicine and the Humanities: A Winter Dawg Daze Workshop

How can studying the humanities make you a better doctor? Are you an undergraduate student exploring majors or minors? Maybe you’ve already chosen a major but you’re interested in how to best prepare yourself for a career in medicine?

Join UAA Advising’s pre-health team and humanities advisers from the UW for a workshop on the role of the humanities in the study and practice of medicine. Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Charles Chestnut, Professor of Radiology and Medicine at the UW School of Medicine; graduate of University of Florida School of Medicine, class of 1966; and current undergraduate in the UW Department of English.

Thursday, January 15th, 5:00-6:00 pm, MGH 171E

This event is free and open to all
