Employer-Led Workshop: Navigating a Career Fair (presented by INROADS)
Wednesday, April 8th
12:30-1:20pm at the Career Center (134 Mary Gates Hall)

During this Navigating a Career Fair presentation INROADS will help you to create a plan to find an internship or full-time position at the UW’s Spring Career Fair on April 16th. Our session will help you to determine why and when to attend a career fair, create a plan and focus your efforts and follow through on your connections. Instead of sitting back, and taking notes, we will work through developing your strategy for landing an internship for summer 2015 or a full-time career-focused position post-graduation.

No RSVP is required; space will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Questions? Email careerevents@uw.edu .

Great volunteer & networking opportunity - the Spring Career Fair!

Looking to fulfill volunteer hour requirements? Interested in event planning and want to add some events work to your resume? Interested in connecting 1:1: with hiring employers? The Career Center has a great opportunity for you!

We are in need of volunteers for the upcoming Spring Career Fair on 4/16/15 from 3-7pm in the HUB Ballrooms. Shifts will be available from 8:30am-8:00pm, with a minimum time commitment of 2 hours.

Science Job & Internship Fair

January 28, 2015

2:00-5:00pm, MGH Commons

This unique min-fair is open to all majors and gives students the opportunity to directly connect with recruiters from local and national companies looking to hire UW students into science careers and internships . We will have 20 employers in attendance, including Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research, Lake Partners Strategy Consultants, the UW Undergraduate Research Program, and more.

Volunteer for the Summer Career Fair! Apply by June 18th!

The Career Center is in need of volunteers for the upcoming Summer Career Fair on 6/18/14 from 2-6pm in the HUB Ballrooms. Shifts will be available from 8:00am-7:00pm, with a minimum time commitment of 2 hours.

Why volunteer?

·         If you need to fulfill volunteer hour requirements, look no further! Complete your hours with flexible shifts at this high-energy event.

·         Interested in Event Planning? As a volunteer, you’ll work closely with the UW Career Center’s Events Team to put on our biggest event of the year. Learn the ins and outs… then put it on your resume!

·         Some volunteer shifts will work directly with employers, where you will have direct access to network and connect with them.  Keep in mind- they are all hiring and/or have internship opportunities!
